Assam steeped with star anise and finished with a lot of condensed milk. Sweet enough to count as dessert, honest enough to admit it.

01 · Why Pearl

Real leaf tea

Oolong and Assam, brewed every morning in small batches and used the same day. No powder, no concentrate.

02 · Why Pearl

Fresh milk

Whole milk poured to order, oat milk at no extra charge. The creamer powder stays in the cupboard.

03 · Why Pearl

Pearls daily

Tapioca cooked in brown sugar every morning. Chewy for about four hours. We do not recommend waiting.

04 · Why Pearl

30% sugar

Our default, not a diet. Ask for 0, 50, 70 or 100 and we will make it exactly that, without commentary.

05 · Why Pearl

No powder

No creamer powder, no artificial colours, no preservatives. Tea, milk, sugar and time. That is the list.

06 · Why Pearl

Oat option

Barista oat milk, same price, same texture. The pearls are already vegan, which surprises more people than it should.

Questions

Asked, honestly.

It is. Oolong and Assam, brewed in small batches every morning and used the same day. No powder, no concentrate, and nothing that describes itself as a 'tea flavour'.

Thirty percent by default, which is less than most places. Ask for 0, 50, 70 or 100 and we will make it exactly that.

Cooked every morning in brown sugar and good for about four hours. If you order at closing time, they will be honest with you about it.

Six cups per tray, cold-packed with ice packs. Order by 10am for same-day in the city; everywhere else gets next-day and one stern instruction to shake before opening.
